    Andrew Morafates

    Chief Executive Officer

    Andrew Morafates started in the insurance business as a Career Agent in 1972. In 1991 he moved into the Brokerage Market.


    Prior to founding Atlantic Insurance Brokerage, Andrew had a major role in building a successful BGA. Utilizing almost 40 years of Insurance experience, Andrew helped develop Atlantic Insurance Brokerage to handle the changing needs of the independent brokerage community.

    Demetrios Velissarios


    Demi has been in the insurance business since 2000. He has held positions at Bisys (now Crump), Independent Marketing Group, and Highland Capital Brokerage.


    In 2010 he partnered with longtime friend and associate Andrew Morafates to form Atlantic Insurance Brokerage. Prior to his insurance experience, Demi worked for 12 years in the Banking and Finance industry, holding numerous positions including Branch Manager, Commercial Lending Officer, and Banking Auditor.



    Richard Whitbeck

    Chief Marketing Officer

    Richard Whitbeck, CLU, ChFC, FLMI, RHU has 29 years’ experience in the insurance industry.


    Prior to working with Atlantic Insurance Brokerage, Richard held several senior level positions including President of Portamedic, President of CJA & Associates, Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager, at AXA Equitable, and Vice President of Marketing for MONY. Richard is also a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.

    Jason Webber

    Chief Operations Officer

    Jason Webber has been with Atlantic Insurance Brokerage since its inception in 2010. He has been in the life insurance brokerage industry for over 20 years.


    Prior to joining AIB, Jason served as Operations Manager of an affluent MGA from 2004-2010. Previously, he held various positions with a major MGA over a period of 10 years. Jason attended Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis.

    Dan Weinberger

    President, Premier Financial Network

    Dan Weinberger has been in the Insurance and Financial Services industry for over 28 years and has held leadership roles across several companies.


    He started his professional career as a product illustration system programmer. He progressed through his own sales practice and then leadership roles in marketing, sales and distribution management at Travelers, MetLife & AIG. He holds a BS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Binghamton.

    Gary Baker

    President, Chief Underwriter

    General American (A MetLife company) and Mutual of New York (present-day AXA-Equitable) are perhaps the most notable insurers to have retained Mr. Baker in a consulting capacity.


    Here he was tasked with sales strategy and creating specialty products to enhance their competitive advantages, respectively.

    Helena Colon

    Vice President of New Business

    Helena Colon started in the insurance industry in 2000. She began working at Bisys Insurance Services (now Crump) from 2000-2004 as a key account manager.


    Helena has been with Atlantic Insurance Brokerage since March of 2010 and currently works as the New Business VP and Key Account Manager. She has an extensive background in all aspects of running an insurance brokerage, relationship management and various types of high-end life insurance and annuity business.

    Heather Vozar

    Brokerage Manager, Southwest

    Heather Vozar is a third generation, multi-line insurance professional with over 12 years of professional experience.


    She has vast experience in the field as a writing agent, knowledge and practice in operations, case management, and claims management. Ms. Vozar has worked for both large insurance companies as well as successful BGA’s. Heather is located in Houston, TX

    Michele Olding, ChFC

    Regional Vice President, Sales

    Michele Olding is a ChFC with 20+ years’ experience in the insurance industry. She has worked in corporate and field distribution.


    She brings the knowledge and experience in underwriting, product development, operations / administration, advanced sales and direct point of sale assistance. Michele has the skill and knowledge to serve both individual and business insurance planning case design. Michele is located in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

    David Frohman, CLU

    VP, Business Development

    David Frohman has been a licensed insurance professional for more than 25 years. As the President of Optimal Planning Strategies., he has been recognized with a “Top of the Table” award by the Million Dollar Roundtable.


    David’s areas of interest and expertise range from financial planning for families to business owner risk and retirement planning. His expertise in tax-qualified plans for professionals makes him a sought-after advisor nationwide.
